Surah Yaseen (سورة يس)
Surah Yaseen has been called the heart of the Qur'an as the Messenger, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, called him, and this Surah is one of the Surahs of Mecca except for verse 45, which is a civil verse. The blessing of the believer is hidden in Surah Yaseen, both in this world and in the next world. It maintains faith in the heart and reminds of the Almighty Allah. This surah removes from the Muslim the troubles of this world and the world hereafter. The prominent scholars of Islam recommend that Muslims must read Surah Yaseen every night before going to bed. It is necessary to send reward to the Prophet and Ahli-beyt.
The scientist said: "Everything that I have achieved in this life, I owe to Sura Ya-Sin."
There are many hadiths about the virtue of this sura. So one of them says: “If someone enters the cemetery and reads Surah Yaseen, then the punishment (of those in the grave) will be reduced on that day, and that person will get a reward equal to the number of people buried in the cemetery”.
“Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Holy Quran is Surah Yaseen".
The one who reads it is like the one who read the entire Qur'an ten times." Surah Yaseen" is the heart of the Holy Book and therefore is of great importance to Muslims.
The importance of Surah Yaseen:
Surah Yaseen is distinguished from the rest of the Holy Quran due to the reason that it speaks of monotheism only in God Almighty and has no partner. It also includes a group of noble verses that talk about monotheism and the belief in God Almighty as it confirms the reality of the resurrection and forgiveness on the Day of Resurrection in which some people will be atoned for Surah Yaseen.
Heart of the Quran:
It has been proposed that Yaseen is the "heart of the Quran". The meaning of "the heart" has been the basis of many scholarly discussions. The eloquence of this surah is traditionally seen as representative of the miraculous nature of the Quran. It presents the essential themes of the Qur'an, such as the sovereignty of God, the unlimited power of God exemplified by His creations, Paradise, the ultimate punishment of non-believers, the resurrection, the struggle of believers against polytheists and not believers and the peace of mind that believers are on the right path, among others. It presents the message of the Quran in an effective and powerful way, with its fast and rhythmic verses. This surah states that Muhammad was not a poet, but the greatest and the Last Messenger of Allah (the " Seal of the Prophets ").

Calm and a sense of psychological comfort:
Reading this surah gives the person a lot of calm and a sense of psychological comfort. When reading Surah Yasin, it should be within the intention of the person that God responds to his supplication and that he reads it with a sincere intention of repentance and that God will fulfill his need.
About the Day of Resurrection:
Surah Yaseen speaks about the Day of Resurrection in a clearer and more precise way than rest of the Surahs of Holy Quran.
The reason behind naming Surah Yaseen with that name:
Surah Yaseen's secrets have been tested. Many commentators have different opinions about the meaning of the two letters Yaseen. One of the commentators said that it is one of the names of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. In the same way, like pain, like hair or bitter, etc.
The order of Surah Yaseen in the Qur'an is the number thirty-six and the number of its verses is eighty-three verses, and this Sura was revealed after Surat Al-Jinn and is found in Holy Quran in the twenty-third part, this surah is distinguished by the fact that its verses are short, easy to memorize, and the presence of commas in them. It is considered as any surah of the Qur'an. When you read it, the reader is rewarded and God Himself writes for him. Rather, it is a card of ten good deeds.
Abdullah bin Masood, may God be pleased with him, narrated on the authority of the Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him. He said:
“Whoever recites a letter from the Book of God has a good deed for it, and the good deed is ten like it.”
Prayers for the need:
There are many supplications that are said before reading Surah Yaseen and after reading it with the intention of praying out of necessity and the certainty that God will answer the prayer, including the following:
Oh God, you are my Lord, there is no God but You, I trust in you and you are the Lord of the Great Throne. Everything that God wanted happened, and what He did not want, did not happen. I testify that God has power above all things and that God has encompassed all in knowledge.
Glory to God who frees every action, saves every captive and frees every debtor, Glory to God above all that is hidden, Glory to the One who made or commanded between the Kaf and the Nun (Kun Fayakoon).
My God, O Responder of Supplications, O Judge of Needs, satisfy my need for the sake of these days, O Allah, answer our supplications for the sake of the Great Qur'an and the Noble Prophet, and for their pure offspring, by your mercy O Merciful of the merciful.
What is Surah Yaseen?

Reaction of Jinns towards recitation of Surah Yaseen:
The jinn are afraid to listen to the Noble Qur'an and suffocate when they hear the recitation of its verses, especially when the reader reads them with concentration, calm and intense contemplation.

Many healers in the Noble Quran recite Surah Yaseen to those who are spiritually wounded because they know Benefits of it.
Repentance from sins:
Before mentioning Benefits of this Surah regarding repentance from sins, we must first know that while reciting it we must have a pure intention to repent before God Almighty.
The Messenger of God, peace and prayers of God be upon him, said:
"Whoever recites Surah Yaseen in one night, seeking the Face of God, will be forgiven that night."
Whoever recites Surah Yaseen in the morning and in the evening, God will forgive his past and future sins.
What happens when reading Surah Yaseen about the dead?
It is when a person reads it for a deceased person, it relieves him from the agony of death, because our Holy Prophet said:
“There is no dead person who dies and is recited with him, but God makes it easy for him”.
Virtues and general benefits of Surah Yaseen:
- Surah Yaseen helps to loosen the tongue, the cutting of letters and the inability to easily assemble words.
- It transmits strength in the heart, so that the person who is constantly reciting Surat Yaseen feels free from fear.
- It effectively contributes to rest, deeper sleep and a longer period of crying and screaming in children.
- Brings the believer closer to the love of obedience and closeness to God Almighty.
- For people who are crazy and upset, it helps calm them down and solve their psychological and nervous problems.
- Relieves the anxieties, worries and problems that afflict people with many worries.
- It relaxes the heart and makes the believer feel calm and collected.
The spiritual secrets of Surah Yaseen:
- A great spiritual secret in the 9th verse of Surah Yaseen as it protects those who read it while fearing the plots of his enemies or fearing the eyes of jinn.
- He makes a veil over his eyes and turns his plots in his hands, and our Noble Messenger, we follow his example and follow in his footsteps, has read the ninth verse of Surat Yassin.
- Against the infidels gathered to kill him on the night of his departure for emigration, when Almighty God says:
“And we have put a barrier between their hands and a barrier behind them, so we covered them with them, and they did not cover them.”
- Reading Surah Yaseen at home keeps demons and jinn away from him.
- Healers use it for deciphering works, magic, eye injuries, the devil of the eye, intense envy, cases of deception by jinn, and consort treatment.
- Surah Yaseen also has great power to immunize the believer against witchcraft and envy, as it acts as a protective shield against any spiritual damage penetrating body.
- The sadness and compulsive obsessions that fill the person's head with spiritual damage will completely erase all the worries and change her fear for safety.
- Read before bed to immunize adults and children against disturbing dreams or extreme fear.
- A Muslim draws closer to his Lord when he recites Surah Yaseen because of the lessons learned from it and the great benefits that make his heart humble and crack from the fear of God.
- It increases kindness and sustenance in the heart and home of the reader who reads it constantly.
Benefits of Surah Yaseen for livelihood:
It is recited seven times in a row with the intention of supplying a specific need that is given by God's mandate, such as carrying sustenance or marriage.
It is recorded in Sunan al-Darimi that Muhammad said that
"If someone recites Yaseen at the beginning of the day, his needs for that day will be met."
In another narration, this Surah has been described as the key to all good in this life and the hereafter and a security from all evil in this life and the hereafter. The needs are satisfied if they are asked after the recitation of this Surah and the reward for its recitation is also compared to performing twenty Hajj pilgrimages.

- The unity of God ( tawhid )
- Risala , that Muhammad is a messenger sent by God to guide his creations through divine revelation
- The reality of Akhirah, the Last Judgment.
"This is a revelation, an enlightening Qur'an to warn anyone who is truly alive, so that God's verdict may be pronounced against the disbelievers."
The surah repeatedly warns of the consequences of not believing in the legitimacy or revelation of Muhammad, and encourages believers to stand firm and resist the ridicule, oppression, and ridicule they receive from polytheists and non-believers.
