2. Step-by-Step Umrah Guide with Duas
Entering the State of Ihram
Before crossing the Miqat
Labbayk Allāhumma Labbayk. Labbayk Lā Sharīka Laka Labbayk. Innal Ḥamda Wan-Ni‘mata Laka Wal-Mulk. Lā Sharīka Lak.
“Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty. You have no partner.”
Tawaf of the Kaaba (7 rounds)

Rabbana ātinā fid-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fil-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā ‘adhāban-nār.
“Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.” (Recite throughout Tawaf)
Sa’i between Safa and Marwah (7 rounds)
Innaṣ-Ṣafā wal-Marwata min sha‘ā’irillāh.
“Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.” (Start at Safa, recite this at the beginning of each round)
Halq / Taqsir (Shaving or Trimming)
After completing Sa’i, men shave the head (halq) or trim hair (taqsir). Women trim a fingertip’s length. Ihram ends here.
